Choss Lore is Expanding!
This website grew out of one person's hobby project, which started in 2016. Choss Lore is currently trying to expand into a 501(c)(3) with the following goals:
- Expanding the atlas of place name origins with other contributing authors
- Digitizing and organizing historical reference material related to southcentral Alaska
- Teaching and sharing modern free/open-source digital data tools
